The "Born This Way" singer was snapped strutting her stuff in a pair of black kitten heels as she headed to a yoga class in New York City's East Village on Tuesday, April 2. While wearing sky-high pumps is nothing new for Mama Monster (armadillo heels anyone?), the fancy footwear likely surprised her fans, since she has been confined to a wheelchair since undergoing hip surgery February 20.
Unfortunately, it looks like the yoga class may have been a bit too much too for the famous pop star to handle, as she was spotted rolling out of the studio in her trusty Louis Vuitton wheelchair.
While she only managed to rock her latest foot candy for a brief stint, perhaps it will give fans hope that she'll be returning to the stage soon. Prior to her surgery, Gaga's Born This Way Ball Tour was sidelined after doctors discovered that she had a labial tear in her right hip.
Never one to keep her little monsters in the dark, Gaga took to Twitter to explain her medical woes. "I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal," she tweeted February 12. "I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can't."
Despite being stuck in her fancy wheelchair these days, the 27-year-old, who celebrated her birthday on March 28, certainly gets around. Last week she was photographed being wheeled into Windy City eatery Spiaggo for a celebratory dinner with her boyfriend, "Chicago Fire" star Taylor Kinney.
